What Aura is
Aura is a personal calendar, task and notes app, offered free while it grows up. It is a work in progress built by a small team of one (plus an AI that does what it's told). Use it for anything lawful; be kind to it.
Your account, your data
- You own everything you put in. Aura claims no rights over your events, tasks or notes.
- Keep your password to yourself; you're responsible for what happens under your sign-in.
- You can delete your account and all its data at any time from Setup — the wipe is immediate and permanent.
The assistant and your keys
AI features run on a key you bring from a provider (Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini or Groq). That provider bills you directly and processes your requests under its own terms. The assistant proposes; you approve — but you're the editor-in-chief: check what it read before you rely on it for anything that matters.
No warranty (said honestly)
Aura is provided as-is, without warranties of any kind. It's in active development: features change, and despite real care and real backups, you should not make Aura the only home of irreplaceable information. To the extent the law allows, Aura's liability to you is zero dollars — which is also, not coincidentally, the price.
Changes
If these terms change meaningfully, the date above changes with them. Continuing to use Aura after that means you're okay with the new ones.
